King Jajati ruled over the kingdom for a long time. Being upset with his luxurious lifestyle, he went to the jungle leaving all his kingdom and property in the hand of his sons and relatives. Angerless Jajati made very robust meditation for a long time.

The austerity and penance he performed had been very harsh and strict. In the beginning, he began living solely with water, then he lived only with the consumption of air and he meditated by way of standing with one leg. Because of such challenging austerity, he attains the kingdom of heaven. Sometimes he used to stay with demigods and different instances he used to move in the divine places. The demigods got jealous of these sorts of activities. When the king Jajati went to the king of demigod Indra, he used to be sitting with Indra through sharing his throne. The king of demigod Indra used to be additionally not interested to provide any different throne to the ultimate divine soul which is lesser than his own. But he was also not interested to share his throne with anyone who came from Earth. Also, he was no longer preferring to take a seat with him. He used to be feeling very uneasy. As the king of demigod, he was considering this as a top-notch insult to him. The demigods were also thinking to make Jajati out of Heaven. Indra was also conscious of the thinkings of demigods.

At last, the king of demigod made a plan in his mind. That day Jajati used to be sharing the thone with Indra. To tempt Jajati, Indra in sweet and mild voice praised him a lot. He said you are one amongst the ultimate souls so who can be like you? I want to understand your way of performing austerity and penance by using which you came to heaven and you move in this divine place. By listening such captivating and praising words from Indra, he all of sudden told all human being, saints, demigods and others would possibly not have viewed or listened about that austerity and penance which I performed.

Then before ending his words, Indra’s emotion had been changed. Indra instructed Jajati to leave his throne in a harsh way. Indra told you have already praised yourself enough except understanding about others. Because of this, you have lost all the virtues out of your austerity and penance about which you are discussing. You have viewed yourself excellent as in contrast to others. This is the cause for which you will be out of heaven. After this Jajati lost heaven. But Indra also informed that there is another chance to come to heaven if he will do appropriate things as he did before to come to heaven.

Sometimes we reflect on consideration on ourselves higher than others. But instead of thinking about ourselves if we will think that all of us is special and best. Then solely we can improve. May all and all of us improve in our life. Good luck.

Uddhav’s Bitter Questions to Krishna

Source: Pexels Uddhav was in the service of Shri Krishna as a charioteer since childhood, but he neither expressed any desire nor asked anything from Shri Krishna. When Krishna completed his avatar era and was ready to go to Gaulok, he called Uddhav to himself and said: Dear Uddhav, many people have received something from me in this 'Avatar period', but you never asked for anything! Now ask for something, I want to give something to you   Uddhav did not ask for anything even after this. He only wanted to clear his doubts which were arising in his mind by seeing Krishna's teachings and his gratitude. This way it became a session which not only cleared the doubt’s of Uddhav but also it’s very helpful to clear all common doubts in our mind.   Uddhav’s question:  I could not understand many things in the events of Mahabharata! Your 'teachings' remained different, while 'personal life' looked somewhat different! Will you explain the reason to pacify my knowledge...

Education System of India

India produces more engineers than the total population of Switzerland. Still, Switzerland is number one in research and innovation. After independence, the Republic of India has produced zero noble laureates in science but within the same time period, the USA has produced noble laureates who are 100 plus in number. The new Annual Employability Survey 2019 report by Aspiring Minds reveals that 80% of Indian engineers are not fit for any job in the knowledge economy and only 2.5% of them possess tech skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) that industry requires. Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella and many other popular people have done their education outside India. To find the root cause and problems hidden in our education system, we have to go back to the time when India was ruled by Britishers. In that time East India Company had two major challenges to rule India. First was the need for communication with Indians in their British English language and second, was the need for workers in I...
