Homeless prince Gautam used to be practising austerity and penance to get self-knowledge. In the disastrous jungle, he was doing deep meditation by giving a lot of pain to his body. But there was no stop in his practising. For a lot of days, he endured this. One day with disappointment, he thought that even after attempting so hard, I still have not received awareness and self-knowledge. What can I do next? It appears not possible to get accomplishment. He became imbalanced, despair and dubious about his target. He became thirsty with all kinds of anxieties. He went to a nearby spring to quench his thirst.

He noticed an unbelievable scene close to the spring. On the edge of the spring, two cubs of a squirrel had been playing happily. Mother squirrel used to be observing her cubs and her eyes were fixed on the two cubs. Suddenly an unfortunate incident happened, the cubs fell into the spring water and they swept away with the waves of the running spring water. Mother squirrel could not figure out something for a moment. Then she rapidly went to the edge of the spring, she made her body wet with the water of the spring and came outside of the spring to make the water out of her body. She continued this again and again with quicker speed.

Gautam thought in his mind about the outstanding effort of a little squirrel. It is not feasible to dry the spring water through a little squirrel. Still, she is persevering with her effort in full swing. Gautam felt that the mom squirrel warns him through this action that she doesn’t know whether or not she will be in a position to recover her cubs or not, however, she is still attempting to dry up the water of the spring.

That day Gautam learnt a splendid lesson of not quitting from the little squirrel. The squirrel inspired him not to get diverted from his effort. He learnt the lesson that if the squirrel can strive to dry up the water of the spring within her limited potential then why am I so upset and disturbed?  I am more capable than her. Thinking that Gautam again immersed into his practice with a strong determination to attain his target. At last, under the Bodhi tree, Gautam received enlightened. Initially, he got failed, however, his willpower and effort made him recognised as Gautam Buddha.

May all of us have that robust determination? May all of us proceed our continuous effort? Good luck.

Uddhav’s Bitter Questions to Krishna

Source: Pexels Uddhav was in the service of Shri Krishna as a charioteer since childhood, but he neither expressed any desire nor asked anything from Shri Krishna. When Krishna completed his avatar era and was ready to go to Gaulok, he called Uddhav to himself and said: Dear Uddhav, many people have received something from me in this 'Avatar period', but you never asked for anything! Now ask for something, I want to give something to you   Uddhav did not ask for anything even after this. He only wanted to clear his doubts which were arising in his mind by seeing Krishna's teachings and his gratitude. This way it became a session which not only cleared the doubt’s of Uddhav but also it’s very helpful to clear all common doubts in our mind.   Uddhav’s question:  I could not understand many things in the events of Mahabharata! Your 'teachings' remained different, while 'personal life' looked somewhat different! Will you explain the reason to pacify my knowledge

Education System of India

India produces more engineers than the total population of Switzerland. Still, Switzerland is number one in research and innovation. After independence, the Republic of India has produced zero noble laureates in science but within the same time period, the USA has produced noble laureates who are 100 plus in number. The new Annual Employability Survey 2019 report by Aspiring Minds reveals that 80% of Indian engineers are not fit for any job in the knowledge economy and only 2.5% of them possess tech skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) that industry requires. Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella and many other popular people have done their education outside India. To find the root cause and problems hidden in our education system, we have to go back to the time when India was ruled by Britishers. In that time East India Company had two major challenges to rule India. First was the need for communication with Indians in their British English language and second, was the need for workers in I
